Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the HeadOS platform and services. This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service to:

2.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations
  • Facilitate or promote illegal activities
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others

2.2 Harmful Content

  • Store, transmit, or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or promotes violence
  • Distribute spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications
  • Host or link to content that exploits minors

2.3 System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected networks
  • Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without authorisation
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls
  • Overload systems through excessive API calls or automated requests
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code

2.4 Account Misuse

  • Share account credentials with unauthorised parties
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
  • Resell or sublicense access without written permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

3. Resource Usage

You agree to use system resources responsibly. HeadOS reserves the right to implement fair usage limits on storage, API calls, and bandwidth. Excessive usage that impacts other users may result in throttling or additional charges.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it immediately to info@taphead.co. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

5. Enforcement

HeadOS may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Remove or disable access to content that violates this policy
  • Suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders
  • Report violations to law enforcement where appropriate
  • Pursue legal remedies for damages caused by violations

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
